Card: Easter Ideas

Welcome to my blog, Paper Crafting With Rebecca!

Life has been a bit hectic this last couple of weeks, but I'm not complaining since some of that "busy" is so adorable!

In between regular daily activities, however, I have been having fun in my craft room scrapbooking and card making.

And now here it is, time to think about making Easter cards! I started on a few this evening. I mostly used stamps and watercolors to make them.

Here are the supplies I used on the three Easter cards pictured below:

Stamps: Easter Basket and Easter Animals
Cardstock: White Daisy Cardstock, Bashful Cardstock, Gimme Some Sugar Paper Packet and some very pale blue cardstock I had in my stash.
Inks: Black Memento Ink, a couple of inks from my Adventure Exclusive Inks Minis, and a couple from my Enchantment Exclusive Inks Minis.
Watercolor tools: Small Round Waterbrush and my CTMH Watercolor Pencils
Embossing Folder: Rose
Embellishments: Bitty Sparkles and ribbon from my stash.
Adhesives: Tombow Permanent Adhesive and 3-D Foam Tape

I love stamping in the black Memento ink and then watercoloring the picture (like I did with the bunny and Easter basket) because I find it both relaxing and satisfying to blend and play with the colors. I used the Memento ink because it will not react with the watercolor water and run.

Using colored ink for the grass and flowers made it easy to add extra color to my card. Then I added a bit of "bling" (Bitty Sparkles) to the middle of the flowers for that added special touch.

Thank you for reading my blog. If you have any questions or comments then please contact me below. I am happy to answer your paper crafting questions and help you if I possibly can.

Happy Paper Crafting!
