Winter is hanging on this year and keeping me in the house! I don't mind, as I seem to have lots to keep me busy inside, but I decided it was time to make something bright and cheery to balance out the grey skies outside. CardstockWhite Daisy CardstockRuby Cardstock cut to 4.25" x 11", Lemon Cardstock cut to 4" x 5.25" and a decorative paper out of my stash cut to 3.75" x 2.5". (Note: I originally planned on using a piece of Pixie Cardstock, but ended up cutting another piece out of the Lemon Cardstock for the final version of the design.) InkRuby Extras

However, the middle part (the visit) makes it all worth it! Not only did I have a lovely visit with my parents, but my mother is an amazing cook... there was so much good food! I wish you could all taste her gooseberry pie and her lemon meringue pie (and so much more)! Yum!

As soon as I got home we celebrated Easter, then my hubby had his cataract removal surgery. Everything is going well with the recovery, and now (after yesterday's eye doctor visit) I am only having to…
