Color Dare #382 - Purple Monochromatic

Welcome to my blog,  Paper Crafting With Rebecca! As you may already know... purple is my favorite color! So I couldn't resist joining in on this  Monochromatic - Purples Color Dare #382 ! Monochromatic - Purples Color Dare #382 For my purple project I was inspired by a card I saw by Kristina Werner. To give her credit where credit is due I will link her card here →  Kristina's card . Obviously, I used different materials, a slightly different technique, and of course PURPLES instead of blues to create my card. So let's look at the details... I am not going to use stencils like Kristina did, instead I used stamps only. Since I was going to use stamps instead of a stencil I did some creative masking. Save Those Patterned Paper Scraps!

Welcome to my blog,  Paper Crafting With Rebecca! One of the joys of paper crafting is patterned paper. There are so many beautiful patterned papers out there and they can add so much a project. But what do you do with those little leftover scraps of patterned paper after you complete your project? I made a video about that! So here you go.... What do you think? Would you try any of these five ideas with a "scrappy sheet"? Let me know in the comments below. Here are a couple of close-ups from the video... Use those dies you already own... ...create beautiful "scrappy sheet" embellishments for your upcoming projects. A little bit of ink blending... ... add those embellishments... ... and you end up with a handmade card full of dimension and interest. One can never have enough gift tags ready to go! Crafty Kraft Paper!

It is so tempting to head straight for the pretty patterned papers, or grab that solid white to stamp on, or focus on the colored papers for the associated seasons... but let's not forget the simple beauty and fun of Kraft paper . This video might give you some inspiration to pull out your Kraft paper , some supplies, and have some creative fun! Are you inspired now? I hope so.
