Color Dare #323 - Pastel and Soft

Welcome to my blog,  Paper Crafting With Rebecca! I am participating in yet another Color Dare! The challenge this time is to "use your 'Pastel and Soft' colors and neutrals of your choice" and the theme is once again "Anything Goes". I chose to make a pastel "Thank You" card for my parents. They deserve so much more than just a card to express appreciation for them... but it's a start. Pastel and Soft This card design was inspired by a card I saw in the Close To My Heart Holiday Expressions September - December 2018 catalog (page 103). I love looking through my various catalogs for inspiration and then making my own different version of the cards I admire. As with many of my cards I started out with some white cardstock. Using a background stamp, VersaMark ink, and soft Violet heat embossing powder I got busy... Once the heat embossing was complete I added some color using Shaded Lilac and Spun Sugar Distress Ink

Color Dare #322 - Bold and Bright Keeping in mind that this card is for a sweet girl only two years old, I didn't want to put a lot of embellishments on the card that might fall off, or anything that would not be safe for a toddler. I did want to make it bright and I wanted it to have a lot of texture to hold her interest. Here is what I came up with... I started by die cutting some an
