H2H Challenge - All About Cricut

Image
Welcome to my blog,  Paper Crafting With Rebecca! Today's blog is all about creating a scrapbook page via Cricut Access in Cricut Design Space using a Cricut Explore Air to be entered in the Heart 2 Heart Challenge. Here is a quick video I made showing the process... If you would like to know more about the Heart 2 Heart Challenges, or would like to enter a challenge, here is a link to get you started...  Heart 2 Heart Challenges . As the video shows, I pretty much followed the design for this scrapbook page as it was originally designed in Cricut Access. I changed it a bit by cutting out extra "Happy Day" words in White Daisy cardstock so I could glue them together to create more depth to this element. I also watercolored my own background page (so I could color coordinate the the cardstock elements with the background) using Watercolor Paints from CTMH. The colors of cardstock I used are: Mink Lemonade Mint Ballerina After s

Inspiration: Staunton, VA

Welcome to my blog,  Paper Crafting With Rebecca! Today's video and blog are all about "Inspiration". As many of you know, a couple of weeks ago my computer died... it didn't just break... it completely and permanently died. The silver lining to that cloud is it caused me to contemplate where we get our inspiration to create our art. It seems like ideas I see on Facebook or Pinterest have been my inspiration an awfully lot lately. Having a broken computer caused me to sit down and write out a list of 10 places that I find inspiration for my art other than the computer. For this video I am showing you one of the places I find inspires me to create... the town I live in... Staunton, VA. Take a moment to watch the video below. After the video you will see that I listed supplies, measurements, and other useful information below. To start with I gathered some supplies and cut some cardstock squares. Once I had my supplies gathered it was an easy card to

Color Dare #359 - Color of Love Palette

Image
Welcome to my blog,  Paper Crafting With Rebecca! Today I am entering a card in the Color Dare Challenge. Here is the link if you would like to learn more about the challenge: Color Dare #359 The colors I chose for this dare are Linen, Peach, a spattering of Goldrush, and a touch of Sage. I chose these colors because I love how they combine (and I had some paper scraps to use from the CTMH Sweet Girl collection that also included some of those colors). Here are a few picture and a description of the process I used to create this card. First I pulled a few supplies together: Peach Exclusive Ink, Goldrush Exclusive Ink, Linen Cardstock, and the Every Little Thing Cardmaking Stamp + Thin Cuts. I started by ink blending on a scrap piece of White Daisy Cardstock with the Peach ink. Then, using my waterbrush I splattered the Goldrush ink over the Peach blended ink. It doesn't look like much now, but it gets better... Using VersaMark Ink I stampe

Playing With Fa-BOO-lous

Image
Welcome to my blog,  Paper Crafting With Rebecca! I missed doing a video last week because my computer died... but I am back up and running today. So let's look at a fun and easy Halloween card using the Close To My Heart (CTMH) Fa-BOO-lous Halloween stamp set. Halloween will be here next month and if you are anything like me you probably prefer to have your cards made and ready to mail well in advance (less rush and stress doing it that way). I love Halloween cards and decorations, they are simply fun and whimsical to create. Halloween allows me to use my imagination and besides... who doesn't love the combination of purples, greens, and oranges we see this time of year! If I left out anything in the video that you want to know about regarding the creation of this card, please be sure to ask me in the comments below. Also, if you create this card, or have any other comments for me, please leave those in the comment section below, too! I love hearing from y
