Welcome to my blog, Paper Crafting With Rebecca ! When I first started paper crafting I was obsessed with finding layouts that provided the exact measurements I needed to recreate the layout. Then I started making my own layouts for both scrapbook pages and cards, again, being careful to record exact measurements... but then I started to relax a bit and just let the creativity take over. I started drawing layout sketches and not worrying about the measurements and I discovered that I could then use the same layout for both cards and scrapbook pages! Here is a video I made demonstrating this technique using one such layout... This relaxed technique makes creating so much more fun! Here are a few close ups of the cards and scrapbook pages from the video... The ink I used for blending was Goldrush on top of a white card base. I love the effect of the Clear Shimmer Brush on top of those yellow hearts! The patterned paper is from the Summer Vibes Paper Packet and works perfect for this 8.5
