Hand-cut Scrapbook Layout

Today I wanted to share with you my video (and then some details further down in this blog) about creating a fun and colorful double layout for an 8.5" x 11" scrapbook. You won't need dies or a cutting machine to create this sort of layout because the components can be hand-cut! Today I want to share a little video I created to show you how I made these fun Christmas shaker cards. You can create something similar... use supplies out of your stash, they are so fun to mail or receive.  I created these cards on a 4" x 6" card base (a piece of white cardstock cut 8" x 6" and then folded in half). I then created the shaker element separately using dies out of my stash. You can use whatever shape and size of die or punch you already own (or cut it out by hand).
