Christmas Shaker Cards

Welcome to Paper Crafting With Rebecca! I am so happy you stopped into my little blog. I hope you find the information here fun, informative, and inspirational. I am not selling anything. I am not sponsored by (nor an affiliate of) any of the products used or companies mentioned in my blog or videos. I simply create this blog (and videos) because I love meeting new people and connecting with others in the paper crafting community.

Today I want to share a little video I created to show you how I made these fun Christmas shaker cards. You can create something similar... use supplies out of your stash, they are so fun to mail or receive.

I created these cards on a 4" x 6" card base (a piece of white cardstock cut 8" x 6" and then folded in half). I then created the shaker element separately using dies out of my stash. You can use whatever shape and size of die or punch you already own (or cut it out by hand). I happened to have some cute patterned papers to use, but you could also create your own patterned paper using stamps, or even hand drawing or painting your own design! My background patterned paper is cut to 3.75" x 5.75". I used wooden buttons to decorate the outside of my shaker element, but you could use any ephemera or any flat Christmas baubles you have in your stash.

I hope you enjoy this little video and that you are inspired to finish up your holiday cards for the year.

Happy Paper Crafting!
Rebecca
