A B C D E Card Making

Do you ever get in a rut when it comes to designing your handmade cards? I do! Sometimes I run out of ideas for a card even though I have the desire to create one. For those times I turn to my A-B-C-D-E Card Making Technique to help put me back in the creative mindset. This is the video I made demonstrating this technique: Here are pictures of the cards featured in this video: This sentiment is from the Sentiments & Stitches (C1835) stamp set. The rainbow stamp comes from the Rainbow Bridge (D1862) stamp set. The sentiment is from the retired Random Act of Cardness stamp set (CTMH September 2019 Stamp of the Month). Time flies, even in these times of "social distancing". We have been getting some much needed work done around the house (a new toilet, a new water heater, painting in the garage, etc.) so there is that to be thankful for, however, I am still happiest when I can put all the "house stuff" behind me and simply sit and create in my craft area. Dollar Tree Doily Ideas for Cards and Scrapbook Layouts

Welcome to my blog,  Paper Crafting With Rebecca ! Isn't it fun when you find a deal... such as 32 assorted sizes of paper doilies in a pack for only a dollar at the Dollar Tree! Here is a video I created demonstrating some techniques for incorporating doilies into your project to add texture, color, and dimension to your paper crafting projects.  What do you think about those ideas? Do you already use doilies in your paper crafting projects? Please share with me what projects you like to use doilies for in the comment section below. Here are some close-up shots of the projects so you can see them better... Utilizing a doily in the most basic way. Again, a simple use of the doily, but it adds so much to this scrapbook layout! Dressing a paper doll for the project. Stenciling with a doily. This makes a perfect background for these kitties! Not much of the background shows on this one... but it's there! Here is the one I demonstrated in the video! Some cards simply need a ruffle!
