Mixed Media Art Journal Page

Welcome to Paper Crafting With Rebecca ! I am so pleased that you are able to join me today, thank you for stopping in. Today I want to share a video (and some details below) showing an art journal page I made. First you will want to sit back, relax, and watch this short video showing the page come together... Are you now relaxed and inspired? It is so fun to create art journal pages because there are no rules... the page is simply for you to enjoy making and a way to express whatever you feel with the art supplies you already own. I hope you dig into your stash and get crafty after reading this blog! I am not sponsored by, nor an affiliate of, any of the companies whose products I used in this video/blog. However, because I am often asked where I bought various supplies, I will try to help out with this list that you can use as search terms in Google to try to find something similar near you... Flip-It Card: To Die Cut or Not To Die Cut

Welcome to Paper Crafting With Rebecca ! Today's blog is all about making a flip-it card using a die (if you have it) or completely by hand without a die. To start with you might want to watch this video and see the process in action... I hope you found that video helpful! Again, let me stress, you don't need a die at all to create a flip-it card. You can cut out your shape using a craft blade if you have a steady hand. Here are some pictures of the cards made using The Stamps of Life die set. Although it doesn't show up well in the photo, there are flat-back pearls on the top left and bottom right corners, and the "hello" is shimmery! This is the card I demonstrated in the video. I made this card completely flat for easy mailing.  The patterned paper was so pretty I didn't think it needed much else added to it! And here is the card I demonstrated in the video made without a Flip-It Card die set: As promised in the video, here are the basic measurements: Ca

Michaels Haul, Extra Discount and Unmarked Stencil Demo

Welcome to Paper Crafting With Rebecca! Today's blog entry is simply a video sharing my latest Michaels craft store haul, discussing some discounts you might not be aware of, and doing a quick demonstration using some unmarked stencils I found tucked away on the back of the rack. One thing I forgot to mention in my video... Michaels has permanent discounts for teachers, too! So if you are a teacher don't forget to get that discount! If I've forgotten any other important discounts in my video then please let me know in the comments so everyone can benefit. Saving money on crafting supplies is always helpful. I can't wait to use my new goodies and bring you along with me for all the fun! I see a lot of creative projects and videos using those new items in my future. Speaking of videos... For my next blog entry I have been challenged by my crafty friend, Ana, to create a card in 5 minutes! Wow! You can see what Ana created (and see her challenge to me) in her video:  Quic
