Mixed Media Art Journal Page

Welcome to Paper Crafting With Rebecca! I am so pleased that you are able to join me today, thank you for stopping in. Today I want to share a video (and some details below) showing an art journal page I made. First you will want to sit back, relax, and watch this short video showing the page come together...

Are you now relaxed and inspired? It is so fun to create art journal pages because there are no rules... the page is simply for you to enjoy making and a way to express whatever you feel with the art supplies you already own. I hope you dig into your stash and get crafty after reading this blog!

I am not sponsored by, nor an affiliate of, any of the companies whose products I used in this video/blog. However, because I am often asked where I bought various supplies, I will try to help out with this list that you can use as search terms in Google to try to find something similar near you...

  • Art Basic heavy gesso in white
  • Golden regular gel matte heavy body acrylic medium
  • Yasutomo shimmery water color paints
  • Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Antique Linen
  • Mont Marte Acrylic Colour in Titanium White, Cerulean Blue, Viridian, and Raw Sienna
  • Spectrum Noir Metallic marker in Antique Bronze
  • The die for the filigree corners is from Tattered Lace
I'm sorry I don't remember where I got the stencil I used... if you recognize this stencil then please leave the information in the comments below for other visitors to this blog to see. What else am I forgetting?

Oh! The quote... it is one I have heard over the years, and I simply printed it on my computer and used a die to cut it out. I can't find an attribution for the quote online... so my apologies if I'm not giving someone credit for it. However, it is a quote I chant to myself often these days.

That about sums up today's blog entry. I hope you enjoyed the video. If you have any questions or comments I would love for you to leave them for me in the comment section below (or in the comment section of the video).

Happy Paper Crafting,
Rebecca
