Color Dare #333 - TicTacToe "So Much Happy"
Color Dare time once again! If you would like to play along, see the rules, or other entries then click the link below the color choices. This time is a Tic-Tac-Toe challenge with the following palette:
I chose to use the middle row: White Daisy, Candy Apple, and Mint. I also used some Candy Apple Ink and my Bonding Memories Broad Tip Glue Pen to assemble the card. I got the design and SVG file for free from Dreaming Tree.
This card is so simple to make, but I love the "wow" factor! It looks deceptively low-key from the front... but then you open it and that "Thank You" pops up!
The first step was to cut out all the pieces on my Cricut Explore Air. This is a simple step, just load the paper and let the machine do the cutting work.
Next I did some tone-on-tone shading of the flower petals. It doesn't show up very well in the pictures, but it does add a nice depth to the paper when looking at it in person.
Then it is simply a matter of assembly! The instructions included with the SVG file are easy to follow. There is also an assembly video in the Dreaming Tree video library on Facebook.

That is all there is to it! Easy, pretty, and just the right colors. If you have any questions or comments please leave them for me below.
