Challenge Yourself: 1 Stamp 3 Different Techniques

Do you miss wandering around the craft supply stores? Are you lacking some inspiration for your next paper crafting project? This pandemic has us all staying home and using our currently available paper crafting supplies so I thought I would offer a fun stamping challenge to you for inspiration!

Here is how it works... pull out four or five stamp sets you seldom use (whatever you have in your stash), then drop them into a bag... reach in... pull out the first stamp set your fingers touch. No going back! You have to use that one!

Now... take that one stamp set and create three cards and/or scrapbook layouts using three different techniques. You can add whatever embellishments you want to, you can use any paper or cardstock you want to, you can use any techniques you want to... but you can only use the stamps from that one stamp set for any stamping you do on your three different projects.

I just gave myself this challenge and it truly helped me to appreciate a stamp set I hadn't really used all that much. This video shares three techniques (stamp/watercolor, fade with water, gold-on-black heat embossing) and my finished results of this self challenge. I will list some of the supplies I used below...

A few of the supplies I used for the "Fade With Water" part of the challenge are:

Floral Borders Stamp, White Daisy Cardstock, Black Cardstock, Gold Glitter Paper, Clear Super Fine Embossing Powder, Anti Static Pouch, Tombow Dual Brush Markers, VersaMark Ink, Nuvo Crystal Drops

A few of the supplies I used for the "Gold Heat Emboss" part of the challenge are:

Floral Borders Stamp,  Black Cardstock, Anti Static Pouch, Princess Gold Embossing Powder, White Daisy Cardstock and Black Exclusive Ink (on the inside)
