You Might "Fall" For These Card Designs!

Welcome to Paper Crafting With Rebecca! Fall is in the air and I am so happy you stopped into my little blog. I hope you find the information here fun, informative, and inspirational. I am not selling anything. I am not sponsored by (nor an affiliate of) any of the products used or companies mentioned in my blog or videos. I simply create this blog (and videos) because I love meeting new people and connecting with others in the paper crafting community.

Today I want to share with you two different card designs that I love to use because they show off patterned papers so nicely. Most of us have patterned paper in our stash that we want to use and these cards make that paper the focus!

First, you might want to watch these cards come together in this little video I made. Then, below this video link, I will list the measurements so you can make something similar if you want to.

Now, having watched the video, are you inspired to create something similar? If so, what follows are the measurements of the cards (and their parts) that I made.

For this first card:
  • The Kraft paper card base is 10" x 7" folded in half to create a 5" x 7" card.
  • The first peachy layer is 4" x 6.75".
  • The bright pumpkin layer is 3.75" x 6.5".
  • The white pumpkin strip is 1.75" x 7".
  • I used a die for the tag. However, if you were to hand-cut a tag the one seen above is 3.5" x 2".

For this second card:
  • The Kraft paper card base is 10" x 7" folded in half to create a 5" x 7" card.
  • The first peachy layer is 4.75" x 6.75".
  • The second layer (the olive green embossed layer) is 4.5" x 6.5".
  • The three banners are (from longest in the back to shortest in the front):
    • 1.75" x 5.5"
    • 1.75" x 4.5"
    • 1.75" x 3.5"
  • The sentiment square is 2.5" x 2.5"... but you will want to use whatever sentiment size you have in your stash.
That is the basics of these cards! I added ribbon, sequins, some stamping and heat embossing... but you can add whatever you like to use when you make your versions!

Thank you again for stopping in. Please be sure to leave me any comments or questions in the comment section below. I love hearing from you!

Happy Paper Crafting,
Rebecca
