February 2023 Review

Welcome to Paper Crafting With Rebecca! I am delighted you stopped into my crafty blog. I hope you find the information here fun, informative, and inspirational. I create this blog (and videos) because I love meeting new people and connecting with others in the paper crafting community.

February was a busy month and I have been trying to catch up on my 2022 scrapbooking this month. I have so many stories I want to tell in my scrapbooks that sometimes the pictures pile up on my crafting table! I also have been making videos... let's review those first:

I bought the Magnetic Twist Trimmer and had
to share some thoughts on it. Do you own one of these?
If so, what do you think about it? Be sure to tell me in the comments below.

Halloween in February?!?! I know... seems nutty,
but I wanted to enter Kendra's Card Challenge 9 again
(you can enter once per month each quarter) and I love making
Halloween cards... so it simply happened that way.

Create a card with me while I talk about some of the
things I wish I had been told when I first started paper crafting.
I hope you find this video helpful and inspirational.

I made this video to share some of the things
I ordered from Scrapbook.com ... but I also wanted to show you a
really fun and easy technique of using white space and
"dragging" watercolor pencil to create some gorgeous blends.
Here is a butterfly made using that technique...

Aside from paper crafting I had a fun month visiting with cousins and sightseeing. We hope to do more traveling this year (to make up for the last two years where we basically stayed home) so there is more fun planned! Here are a few pictures I took in February that make me smile when I see them...

My cousin's bird actually sat on my lap for awhile as I
was snuggled under a blanket. She is normally not so bold with me.

My cousins, hubby and I stopped into the Visitor's Center on
Assateague Island to learn about the wild horses.

It was raining when we walked the boardwalk at Ocean City,
but we still found some silly fun to get into!

Thank you for stopping into my little blog. I hope you leave me a comment because I love hearing from you! As always, you can find me on Instagram as @papergluefun or watch my YouTube channel at: Paper Crafting With Rebecca

Happy Paper Crafting,
Rebecca
