August 2023 Review

 

Welcome to Paper Crafting With Rebecca! I am delighted you stopped into my crafty blog. I hope you find the information here fun, informative, and inspirational. I create this blog (and videos) because I love meeting new people and connecting with others in the paper crafting community. 

Let's review August! It was such a fun and busy month. For me August started with a fun Hop as a member of Kendra's Card Challenge Video Design Team. Did you enter to win?

Then it was time for "Camp Coombs"! Our granddaughter came to spend the week with us and what a busy delightful week it was!! One of the fun things we did was make a video..

I also participated in an Altenew Hop showcasing the new Build-A-Garden collection. There were so many pretty cards and techniques demonstrated in this Hop. 

Of course I entered a set of cards for August into Kendra's Card Challenge, too. Here is a video showing the cards. I hope this video inspires you to enter the challenge, there is still time!

I have been trying not to spend too much money on crafting supplies this year. My "2022 No Spend Year" really helped me to realize I still have plenty of fun crafting supplies to work with. I also haven't done a haul video for a bit now... but HSN August Craft Event made me go crazy! I couldn't seem to stop myself... learn more in this video...

Now we are headed into what I consider to be the busiest time of year for us crafters. Various holidays to get cards made for, home decor, handmade gifts... everything starts to pile up! I tried to make some cards ahead of time, but it seems I never get as many made in advance of the holidays that I say to myself I'm going to get done. However... I am going to take out time for myself on September 15 and 16 to enjoy SBC Fest! It is free and there is still time for you to sign up (I've even included a link for you)...
