January 2024 Review

 

Welcome to Paper Crafting With Rebecca! I am delighted you stopped into my crafty blog. I hope you find the information here fun, informative, and inspirational. I create this blog (and videos) because I love meeting new people and connecting with others in the paper crafting community.

January is the month many make resolutions... but not me this year! I saw a quote from "unknown" author (that guy sure makes a lot of quotes 🤣) that said, "Every year you make a resolution to change yourself. This year make a resolution to be yourself." I really like that!!

So I am simply "swimming along, trying to keep my head above water" and making an effort to live in the moment more this year. Of course a big part of my joy in this world is paper crafting! Here are a few of the fun things that happened in January in case you missed them!

I started the year as a participant in the KCC13 Giveaway Hop. I love being

on the KCC Design Team and the hops are always a fun event (and prizes)!

Then the KCC DT collaborated with our Super Sponsor Artful Angel to present

another giveaway hop! Again, more prizes!!

Of course I couldn't wait to share my cards I entered in the January album

for KCC13. I hope this video answered some questions about KCC13 for you

and provided you some inspiration to join in the KCC fun yourself!

Another giveaway hop!! This one was a collaboration between the KCC DT

super sponsor Colorado Craft Company! I hope you didn't miss out on entering!

Of course I needed to create some Valentine's cards, and what better way to do

that than participate in a collaboration between the KCC DT and the SheetLoad

of Cards DT! I demonstrate the process in this video and ended up with nine fun cards!

Here are a couple of highlight photos for my month of January...

I had this Pinkfresh Studios stamp set sitting on my desk

that I had been wanting to play with... look at the pretty

patterned paper (and subsequent card) I made with it!

We had a couple of really lovely snow days

in January. Perfect for staying in and crafting!

My hubby had a birthday this month! Our son and his

family surprised him by having vegan Japanese food

delivered to the house! I didn't have to cook that day!

February is now upon us and I have a super busy full month of crafting planned. I am also nearing 3K subscribers on my YouTube channel... if I reach that goal this month I have a nice little stack of crafting joy I want to send to one of my subscribers... that means a giveaway is on the horizon!!
